Multiple Levels of Latent Print Examiners

ORAU is pursuing multiple contracts that will require Latent Print Examiners (LPE) with varying levels of experience to join the National Security team. Primary responsibility of Latent Print Examiners is the examination, comparison and identification of Latent Print evidence.  


Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (1 for 1) and 3 to 15 years of Latent Print Examiner experience in the examination, comparison and identification of latent images. Must possess experience encoding, searching and comparing images in an automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) using a universal latent workstation (ULW). Equivalent experience is in addition to a minimum of three years of related work experience. Current certification by the International Association for Identification (IAI) as a Latent Print Examiner (LPE) preferred. For those not possessing IAI LPE certification at the point of employment, such certification must be successfully obtained within 1 year of hire. Obtain and maintain a security clearance.
