Planning
A number of organizations deliver training for CSEPP at no cost to the individual or the individual’s jurisdiction or agency.
The Emergency Planner’s Companion is based on recommendations of CSEPP Planning Guidance and addresses communication issues involved in preparing for a coordinated response among agencies responsible for protecting the public from the consequences of a chemical warfare agent release, but it will also be useful to others involved in developing plans for coordinating resources and implementing response procedures for fast-moving emergencies.
To provide guidance and best practices to emergency management personnel, medical professionals, public affairs officials and others, selected publications and documents have been compiled for reference and training purposes.
Training videos have been developed for the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP) to provide government agencies, emergency planners and responders, and private citizens with instructions on what to do in the event of certain emergencies.
