The goals of the Hazards Assessment Subcommittee (HASubC) are to:
- Provide a forum to facilitate sharing HASubC research activities, findings, information, and good practices.
- Provide an infrastructure for the dissemination of detailed technical methodologies, information, and hazard assessment (HA) tools to reduce unnecessary duplication of HA effort and costs across the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration complex.
- Monitor feedback to promote continuous improvement in emergency planning activities complexwide.
