Identified as an objective for the 2009-2010 reporting period, the EPI Subcommittee provided input to development of the DOE/NNSA Field/Headquarters Public Information Officer (PIO) Communication Job Aid. This document is not intended to be a “how to guide” for conducting EPI, but rather a job aid with emphasis on communication with DOE/NNSA Headquarters. Additionally, this is not an aid for developing the content of news releases or for inclusion in news releases. The intent is for internal communication management only.
