One of the first major products of this working group is the consequence assessment modeling toolbox.

A “Directory of Atmospheric Transport and Diffusion Consequence Assessment Models” (FC-I3-1999) has been published by the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorological Services and Supporting Research (OFCM) with the assistance of SCAPA members.

This document provides an in-depth compilation and description of atmospheric transport and dispersion models that are available to those with consequence assessment responsibilities. It is an updated and expanded version of the two earlier documents: OFCM’s “Directory of Atmospheric Transport and Diffusion Models, Equipment, and Projects” (FCM-I3-1993) and SCAPA’s “Atmospheric Dispersion Modeling Resources” (1995).
