Survey Procedures Manual

The purpose of the Survey Procedures Manual is to provide a standardized set of procedures that document activities of the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education’s (ORISE) Independent Environmental Assessment and Verification programs in an auditable manner.

These procedures are applicable to both U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) operations. Procedures presented within this manual are limited to those associated with site survey activities. Project specific procedures are developed as needed to augment this manual. Additionally, procedures related to the radiological laboratory analytical functions and the quality assurance program are presented in separate documents (Laboratory Procedures Manual and Quality Program Manual, respectively).

The Survey Procedures Manual is available in PDF format. To view these files, you will need the Adobe Reader, which is available free on the Adobe support site.
