Health Promotion and Outreach
The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) provides outreach and promotion services and support, including developing culturally-sensitive programs and audience-appropriate materials for those who require information on specific medical topics, health disparities, and environmental health issues. We can help you develop programs and resources for special populations, health care professionals, researchers and the general public.
Our specific outreach and promotion capabilities draw on the communication, research, and training expertise of our team to include:
Partnership Development
ORISE helps agencies build solid networks of the right partners needed to tackle public health challenges.
Health Literacy Development
Experienced in educating populations facing health disparities, ORISE works with agencies to develop programs that promote health literacy.
Capacity Building
ORISE develops skills and infrastructure necessary for agencies to effectively respond to public health challenges and emergencies.
Health Disparity Interventions
Through community partnerships and education, ORISE increases quality of life by addressing health issues which disproportionately impact minorities and underserved populations.
