Electrical Lessons (DVD)
The Electrical Lessons DVD was developed at Los Alamos National Laboratory by the Health, Safety, and Radiation Protection Division.
This DVD examines three electrical safety incidents and their lessons learned. Though these incidents are demonstrated in three specific work environments, their lessons learned apply throughout the DOE complex—from office to workshop to research bench.
The 16-minute DVD can be used in a variety of ways—as a lesson-learned tool, refresher training in safety meetings, and other formats.
Electrical Lessons is the recipient of the 2005 Bronze Telly Award. The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work of television stations, production companies, advertising agencies, and corporate video departments throughout the world. Entries for these awards are received from all 50 states and five continents; it is a widely known and highly respected national and international competition.

The IH/OS SIG is a peer-to-peer network of personnel involved in occupational safety and health issues within the DOE system. It is sponsored by the Department of Energy, EH-7, Office of Planning and Administration.
Managed by Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, the network encourages and facilitates the exchange of ideas, techniques, and resources for improving training and development and serves as a forum for the discussion of issues of interest to the DOE community.
