Nested—The Nested Safety and Security Committee Process (DVD)
The Nested—The Nested Safety and Security Committee Process DVD was developed at Los Alamos National Laboratory by the Health, Safety, and Radiation Protection Division.
In the DVD, the viewer is guided through different elements of the Nested Safety and Security Committee (NSSC) meeting process. Major topics are illustrated in three different organization meetings: team, group, and division, demonstrating the key dynamics and potential content for NSSC meetings.
Nested Safety and Security Committees offer an important process to ensure communication, worker involvement, leadership, and action at numerous facilities.
This 28-minute training tool is offered to support organizations throughout the DOE complex as they develop their own safety and security meeting format.
Nested—The Nested Safety and Security Committee Process is the recipient of two 2005 Aegis Awards. The Aegis Awards is one of the oldest and most respected video/film production contests in the United States. It is the only competition that features true peer judging by fellow producers, directors, cameramen, editors, and other professionals who work in the video/film industry every day.
