ADVISORY CHAIR GUIDELINES AND APPOINTMENT TERMS

The Steering Committee includes a Chair-Elect, Chair, and Advisory Chair positions. The Advisory Chair serves as an adviser to the Chair and Chair-Elect and also as the Chair and/or Chair-Elect if either are unable to perform his/her duties. Appointed through an election process, this is a three-year commitment: first year as the Chair-Elect, second year as the Chair, and third year as the Advisory Chair.

Upon completion of the term as Advisory Chair, such person is eligible to submit a nomination form for consideration for an additional term as a Steering Committee member. The Advisory Chair must be selected through the election process and serve one year as a steering committee member after his/her term is completed as the Advisory Chair before being eligible to submit a nomination form for consideration for available Chair positions.
