CHAIR-ELECT GUIDELINES AND APPOINTMENT TERMS

The position of Chair-Elect is a "chair-in-training" position. This position assumes the responsibilities of the Chair when the Chair is unable to perform his/her duties. Appointed by an election process, this is a three-year commitment: first year as the Steering Committee Chair-Elect, second year as the Steering Committee Chair, and third year as the Steering Committee Advisory Chair. Requests for nomination forms are sent to the Steering Committee, who will then vote on the position during the annual Steering Committee election process. The nominee must have served on the Committee in the previous year to be eligible to submit a nomination form for this position.
