CHAIR-ELECT RESPONSIBILITIES

The IH/OS SIG Chair-Elect will assume the following responsibilities:

  • Promote IH/OS SIG and TRADE activities within the DOE community.
  • Represent TRADE to his/her facility.
  • Coordinate closely with the TRADE IH/OS SIG Coordinator, Chair, and Advisory Chair.
  • Provide leadership in sharing resources and seeking new resources to share throughout the TRADE network.
  • Participate in SIG Steering Committee meetings, including conference calls, SIG membership meetings/workshops, and assume the Chair's duties when such person is unable to do so during these meetings.
  • Meet as needed with SIG Coordinator, Chair, Advisory Chair, and DOE SIG Sponsors/Advisors.
  • Monitor work of SIG task forces/teams if the Chair is unable to perform these duties.
  • Prepare for assuming the role of the TRADE IH/OS SIG Chair the upcoming year and the Advisory Chair the following year.
