Mosley selected as ORISE director of employee relations and diversity
Human resources specialist brings more than 30 years of workforce development expertise

OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—ORAU has named Mae Mosley director of employee relations and diversity.
In her new position, Mosley will manage and direct ORAU’s employee relations and diversity, and oversee the organization’s occupational health functions, services and programs.
Additionally, Mosley will provide advice and consultation to employees, managers and ORAU executives relating to disciplinary processes, human behavior modification, equal employment and affirmative action goals. She will also serve as a technical advisor to the ORAU Diversity Council.

In addition to her new role with ORAU, Mosley also serves as president and founder of Markets Demand More, LLC, a human resources consulting firm she established in 2007 in Knoxville, Tenn. The firm, which services non-profit and for-profit businesses, uses large corporate business concepts to support the financial viability of smaller organizations. Prior to Markets Demand More, Mosley served as assistant vice president of human resources for Briggs & Stratton Corporation, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of air-cooled gasoline engines.
Mosley has a master’s of business administration in human resources management and a bachelor’s degree in business and management communication, both of which she received from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1997 and in 1994 respectively. Mosley also has two associate’s degrees from Milwaukee Area Technical College in the areas of computerized machining technology and industrial engineering.
Mosley serves on the boards of Knoxville College, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, YWCA Knoxville, as well as the Knox County Board of Ethics. She is also an original founding member of the Greater Knoxville Chapter of the National Coalition for 100 Black Women, an advocacy organization for black women and other women of color that promotes leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
