ORAU, ORNL, ORISE Host Graduate School Fair
OAK RIDGE, TENN—Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), and Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) cosponsored a graduate school fair in Oak Ridge on August 6, giving almost 100 undergraduate students the opportunity to meet with representatives of graduate schools interested in recruiting them.

After graduation, Bhatt plans further study of computational biology. “This is a really new field,” said Bhatt. “Not many schools in Illinois have courses of study in it.”
Fair attendees were participants in programs at the lab, which constituted 10 weeks or more of research over the summer. Bhatt had a Higher Education Research Experience fellowship, a program administered by ORISE for ORNL.
