Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP)
The Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP) is a partnership between the U.S. Army and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The U.S. Army serves as custodian of the U.S. chemical stockpile.
Through CSEPP, communities surrounding the eight chemical stockpile sites have enhanced their abilities to respond to the unlikely event of a chemical agent emergency. The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) works closely with CSEPP to provide the most current, best industry practices for emergency public information and emergency preparedness issues.
