Personnel Security
The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) provides subject matter expertise on numerous personnel security processes, procedures, issues, and concerns. This work includes legal and technical reviews of current and proposed policies and regulations as well as specific research.
ORISE also addresses personnel security issues such as:
- The preemployment screening and evaluation process.
- Detecting substance abuse.
- Unusual behavior and indicators of aberrant behavior.
- Psychological or personality profile questionnaires in personnel screening and evaluation.
- The access authorization adjudication process.
