HEAD OF LABORATORY

After receiving his MS and PhD in Radiobiology and Radiopathology, Dr. Benderitter later became the Head of the Laboratory of Radiopathology at the Institut de Radioprotection et de Sureté Nucléaire (IRSN) in France. Since 2009, he has been Head of the Laboratory of Radiopathology & Stem Cell Therapy at the IRSN. He is president of the International Association of Radiopathology (IAR) and is a permanent member of the French delegation to the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR). He is also a member of the Radiation Emergency Medical Preparedness & Assistance Network (REMPAN) of the World Health Organization (WHO).
