Professional experiences

PhD in cellular immunology laboratory, CNRS URA186 (Pr. P. Debré) Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital on early steps of T cell precursors differentiation in the bone marrow, from 1986 to 1990.
Post-doc position, immunology unit (Pr Zagury), Pierre & Marie Curie University, Paris VI, 1990-1991, on HIV physiology.
Since 1991 : Researcher, Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté Nucléaire. In this position, directed three projects :

  • Effects of external irradiation on T lymphocyte differentiation and thymus physiology (1991-1996).
  • The definition of new biological indicators of radiation damages to the bone marrow (1997-2005).
  • The development of two therapeutic approaches in the treatment acute radiation syndrome in a non-human primate model (1997-2005).

Since 2006, senior position in the experimental radiation toxicology laboratory of IRSN. Development of a project on the non-cancerous effects of chronic ingestion of radionuclides (especially 137-Cesium 90-Strontium 90) in post-accidental situations.
