Middle School AI Course

All AI courses

Introduction to AI for Middle School

In this mini course, students will explore the world of Artificial Intelligence by completing ten projects. Students will learn to use AI to generate content, to write effective prompts to generate desired results, and to build their own machine learning model using Teachable Machine. By the end of the course, students will have a more nuanced understanding of the benefits and challenges associated with AI.

High School AI Courses

Introduction to AI for High School

In this course, students will have a chance to explore key aspects of Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, large language models, bias in models, and the impacts they have on our society. Students will have a chance to engage with multiple AI tools throughout the course, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Teachable Machine.

Applications of AI and Machine Learning

This course is designed to take a look at how data can be used for machine learning to create models for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students will be using TensorFlow with Python to create neural network models.

AI Teacher Tools

AI Creator

Maximize student engagement and accelerate student growth with an innovative AI tool that allows teachers to instantly craft customized and differentiated assignments tailored to each student’s unique learning needs and interests.

AI Grade Suggestions

AI will pre-fill grades and comments based on rubrics, giving students either full credit, partial credit, or no credit. Teachers can choose to accept or reject grading suggestions and make any necessary changes. The final grade is still in the teacher's control.

AI Hints

AI will look at student code, identify errors, and provide a hint for students. Teachers will review the hints before they are sent to students and teachers can choose how thorough of a hint they would like to give by choosing between multiple hint levels.

AI Professional Development

Virtual and onsite workshops tailored to enhance educators' understanding of AI and to give them tangible ways to utilize available technologies in their classrooms.

Artificial Intelligence Career Center

The CodeHS AI Career Center helps students connect classroom learning to future careers. This resource highlights how AI is shaping modern industries and showcases the wide range of career paths available to students interested in computer science, data, and emerging technologies.

Bool

Bool is a site for AI coding and prototyping including for education. Students can easily create and share websites with the power of the latest AI models.

CS + AI Ready

CS + AI Ready is a coalition organized around supporting CS + AI education in schools and districts. Educators can find resources for advocating for CS + AI at their school.
