AI in K-12 Education:

  • Intel is offering the AI for Youth Program, a comprehensive 250 hours of teaching and learning resources for learning AI for grade 3-12 students to empower youth with necessary AI tech skills (like GenAi, Computer Vision, Machine Learning) and AI-related critical social skills (like ethics and biases understanding, AI project cycles).
  • Intel is also extending its Skills for Innovation Program to educator professional development, wanting to integrate AI & other digital skills in their classroom teaching. The program offers 100+ AI-infused lesson plans for teachers to create a dynamic teaching and learning classroom experience for students to be future-ready.
  • Additionally, Intel offers necessary train-the-trainer support to states and school systems with know-how on how to build an AI PC-based safe, secure school infrastructure to access AI.

AI Innovation Challenge: To inspire the next generation of AI leaders and solution builders, Intel is rolling out student innovation challenges with key states and institutions through the AI Impact Festival to foster community-based AI competitions, encouraging entrepreneurship, creativity, and real-world problem-solving with AI. Intel celebrates AI innovation by providing technology guidance, mentorship support, and platforms to showcase its innovative solutions.

AI in Community Colleges and Future Workforce Preparation: Intel is now extending a new AI-X portfolio of programs for workforce development, targeting employability education for key industry verticals (AI for Agri, AI for Manufacturing, AI for Cybersecurity) and key horizontal skills applicable in all industries (AI for Sustainability, AI for Accessibility, and AI for Applied Ethics) across 130 community colleges. Intel is also supporting community colleges to build their K-12 outreach programs, benefiting students and families through curriculum, training resources, and more.
