February 15 - March 15, 2024	Application Review ORISE completes eligibility and compliance review. Hosting facilities review applications for merit and relevance to projects and make recommendations for selection to MEISPP.
March 15 - April 1, 2024 Note: Some offices may make offers after April 1	Selection Notification ORISE notifies candidates and hosting sites of internship assignments after receiving MEISPP approval. Students return required forms to ORISE.
April 2024	Internship Logistics Selected candidates coordinate with mentors and facilities. ORISE confirms assignments and assists with travel arrangements.
Monday, May 20, 2024	MEISPP Prep Internship begins with virtual on-boarding sessions.
Friday, May 31, 2024	Orientation In-person at DOE Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Interns will be flown in on Thursday, May 30.
Wednesday, August 7, 2024	Closing Ceremony Virtual meeting using Zoom and Gather.Town.
Friday, August 9, 2024	Final Day of Summer Internship
