Selectees are responsible for obtaining housing for the duration of their appointment. Several of the Science Education Programs at Oak Ridge National Laboratory offer a housing allowance if your permanent address is at least 50 miles from ORNL. Check your program’s information page for details. (Find your program on the Applicants page.) Information on housing allowance will also be included in your offer letter.
See the ORNL Participant Housing Guide for more information on local housing and important details to consider when making a housing decision (click here for a checklist to assist in your search and decision process). Reach out to other interns for housing advice and/or to find potential roommates on the ORNL Interns Facebook group.
