Information Security Analysts
The largest science and engineering (S&E) occupational group today is computer and mathematical sciences. According to information from the National Science Foundation, about 2.6 million (or 46 percent of the U.S. S&E workforce) are employed in this occupation. One of the smaller subfields in this broad occupation group, Information Security Analysts, offers the potential of much faster than average growth in jobs and salaries. It is one of the 20 occupations projected to experience the highest percent change of employment between 2016-2026.
