EERE Robotics Internship Program appointments, administered by ORAU through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science Education (ORISE), are designed to provide undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates the opportunity to participate in project-specific EERE, Advanced Manufacturing, and robotics research and developmental activities.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old by the start of the internship
  • Must have prior experience in a high school or college robotics competition program
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. university or community college pursuing a degree related to robotics, engineering, or manufacturing or have completed a related degree from an accredited U.S. university or community college within the last 5 years
  • If a recent high school graduate, must provide evidence of college acceptance from an accredited U.S. university or community college
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have health insurance
