Program Introduction
In the past decade, genomics and precision health approaches such as big data science and machine learning have emerged as important tools for public health. Those entering the public health and medical workforces must keep pace with these evolving fields to maximize the benefit to public health. Recognizing this need, ORISE partnered with the Office of Genomics and Precision Public Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to make the following trainings freely available.
Bringing together leading researchers and educators from across academia, government, and private industry, these sessions focus on the current issues in genomics, precision public health, health equity and the related fields that will revolutionize the practice of public health globally in the future.
