Open Research Opportunities
Participants who are interested in HPC research opportunities should consider applying HPCMP’s summer research programs. The HPC Internship Program (HIP) provides students, majoring in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) areas, internship opportunities to gain exposure to and experience with high-end computing (HEC) by working under the mentorship of DOD experts in these areas. The Faculty Immersion Experience (FIX) provides faculty members, working in STEM areas, research opportunities to strengthen collaboration with DOD organizations, enhance research capabilities, and encourage broader university-level participation in HEC.

Applications are accepted from current students, recent graduates, and U.S. college/university faculty year round. Check back often, as additional opportunities become available regularly.
