February 15, 2023	Application Review ORISE completes eligibility and compliance review. Hosting facilities review applications for merit and relevance to projects and make recommendations for selection to MEISPP. MEISPP makes final selections
March 1-April 1, 2023 (note: some offices may make offers after April 1)	Selection Notification ORISE notifies candidates and hosting sites of internship assignments after receiving MEISPP approval. Students return required forms to ORISE.
March 2023	Second Call for Applications
March 24, 2023 11:59pm, ET	Second Call Application and Letter of Reference Deadline
April 2023	Internship Logistics Selected candidates coordinate with mentors and facilities ORISE confirms assignments and assists with travel arrangements.
Monday June 5, 2023	Welcome Session
Thursday August 10, 2023	Closing Ceremony
August 11, 2023	Final Day of Summer Internship
